The ABPM test is a 24-hour blood pressure monitoring procedure that helps diagnose hypertension more accurately than one-time clinical readings. It records your blood pressure at regular intervals throughout the day and night while you go about your normal routine.
This test is especially useful for detecting:
-
White coat hypertension (high BP in clinical settings only)
-
Masked hypertension (normal BP in clinic but high outside)
-
Nocturnal hypertension (elevated BP during sleep)
-
Fluctuations in blood pressure throughout the day
At Maxtech Healthcare, we provide portable ABPM devices on rent, allowing patients to undergo the test comfortably at home or work without disrupting daily life. The data is recorded, analyzed by healthcare professionals, and shared with your doctor for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
